Lithium Battery Recycling Plant
Lithium Battery Recycling Plant
Advanced Industrial Solution for Safe & Efficient Battery Waste Processing
The Lithium Battery Recycling Plant offers a complete system designed for safe, zero-fire-risk processing of spent lithium-ion batteries including soft pack batteries, cylindrical cells, pouch cells, and more. The advanced equipment combines nitrogen-protected shredding, thermal treatment, and dry mechanical separation to recover high-value resources such as black mass, copper, aluminum, plastic, and steel shells from battery waste.
How It Works Process Flow
The complete recycling process is engineered for high efficiency, automation, and minimal environmental impact:
Feeding & Initial Shredding
Discharged batteries are fed into a conveyor feeding belt.
A single-shaft shredder breaks them into 2–3 cm pieces inside a nitrogen-protected chamber, creating an inert atmosphere and eliminating fire/explosion risks.
Thermal Pyrolysis Treatment
The shredded material enters a pyrolysis furnace where electrolytes evaporate and protective films are removed.
Off-gases are processed via scrubbers, activated carbon filters, and catalytic combustion to ensure environmental compliance.
Airflow & Magnetic Separation
Materials pass through a zigzag airflow separator to separate light material (plastic, film) from heavy metal pieces.
A magnetic separator recovers steel shells from the mixed stream.
Screening & Crushing
Heavy fractions are screened by a rotary drum, and larger pieces are re-crushed to release more black mass.
Copper and aluminum granules are separated and sent to a grinder for refinement.
Final Separation & Collection
Refined particles go through a cyclone collector and vibration screen to separate black mass, copper, aluminum, and plastics.
Final airflow separation yields high-purity outputs ready for resale or reuse
